About

Ajibua was born in Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He was exposed to sports at a tendered age because he grew up very close to a community sports facility. This inspired him to pursue a course of study in Physical Education and Sport Science. He is currently the Director of Sports at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. He has 30 years of experience in coaching and Training. He is the International Ambassador for the International Organization for Health Sports and Kinesiology in Nigeria. In March 2022, he was elected the Vice-President of the Nigerian University Games Association. Ajibua was appointed the coach of the Republic of the Gambia Junior National Soccer Team in 1996. He piloted the Steve Biko of the Gambia to the 1996 West African Football Union (WAFU) competition. He has won many medals and commendations at local, national, and international levels. Ajibua is an adjunct lecturer (swimming) with the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is a certified soccer coach and a certified professional teacher. He is also a researcher. He has published more than  45 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Besides, he is an author, fitness instructor, and the founder & President of the Institute of Sport, Exercise, & Health, Nigeria. and finally, he is a representative of the International Association of Strength and Conditioning in Nigeria.
